Fairmont Hotels debuts Gold VIP services in China

CHINA Fairmont Hotels & Resorts has introduced Fairmont Gold across its collection of hotels in China, including Fairmont Beijing, Fairmont Yangcheng Lake and Fairmont Peace Hotel in Shanghai.

Fairmont Gold is a private area that offers corporate or leisure guests an “exclusive oasis” within the hotel. Dedicated Fairmont Gold managers anticipate and address each individual guest’s needs, accommodating requests from dinner reservations to planning special events, or providing light secretarial duties. Guests on these floors also have access to a Fairmont Gold butler who will cater to needs ranging from packing and unpacking to drawing a bath and ensuring the morning tea is just right.

Upon arrival, guests of Fairmont Gold in China are ushered to private floors where they are discreetly checked in and welcomed with signature cocktails. Gold Lounge privileges include an honor bar, complimentary breakfast, afternoon tea and canapés, as well as complimentary Internet access.

Rooms and suites on Fairmont Gold floors are often larger or provide upgraded amenities than other guestrooms throughout a hotel. At Fairmont Beijing, amenities include a 41-inch TV with DVD player and built-in computer, Bose Wave speaker with iPod connector, tea kettles, Nespresso coffee machines and Cisco touchscreen IP phones. The bathroom features a 24-carat gold plated rain-shower head, heated floor and exclusive bath amenities by London-perfumer Miller Harris.

Fairmont Peace Hotel offers 47 Fairmont Gold rooms and nine specialty suites. Fairmont Yangcheng Lake has 42 Fairmont Gold rooms, and Fairmont Beijing has an impressive 72 Fairmont Gold rooms.
