Industry vet Eric Danziger behind rebrand of Braintree Hospitality to Resolute Road Hospitality

Eric Danziger, the former CEO of Trump Hotels and other major hospitality brands over a five-decade career in hospitality, has announced the rebranding of Boise, Idaho-based Braintree Hospitality as Resolute Road Hospitality and the expansion into national third-party management services.

The new third-party management firm will be a “partner, advocate, and fiduciary to owners” and “driven by a promise to change the way” owners think of their management team.

Owners will be offered a comprehensive set of services tailored to their specific needs, including asset management, revenue management, operations, acquisition and disposition advisory, human resources, and other corporate services.

What makes us different at Resolute Road Hospitality is our commitment to the owner. We offer the focus, attention, accessibility, and transparency that owners are entitled to but so often forego. The industry has changed dramatically in recent years, and owners are faced with countless challenges from labor constraints, erratic supply chains, and ever-evolving consumer demands,” said Danziger, CEO of Resolute Road Hospitality.

The leadership team includes Gary Horton, president; Daniel Pinheiro, chief business development officer; Kristen Knapp, chief investment officer; and Aimee Tylor, director of operations. Industry veterans Kevin O’Neil and Richard Sprecher recently joined the team as vice presidents of business development to grow the existing pipeline.

Braintree now Resolute dabbles in different asset classes including hotels, self-storage and multi-family. But Danizger told HOTELS that there was no real clarity of brand. He wanted the hotel side to separate out from the other verticals. The operator currently has 15 hotels in its portfolio, all owned by the company, which it operates, heavily in the Mountain West region.

As Danziger said, the new name for the company is driven by a promise of doing the right thing is always right, a mantra Danizger has followed throughout his career. In Resolute, it came up with a name that means “we do what we say,” Danziger said, “driven by promises. It’s a journey down the road with owners.

For Danizger, who has led some of the largest hotel companies in the world, building up a smaller outfit is something he loves. “My greatest joy is building companies,” he said. “I know how to build them and love creating something that doesn’t exist today.”

“Resolute Road’s detailed hands-on approach to all facets of hotel operations enables the team to maximize top-line performance while uncovering expense-saving opportunities for both full-service and limited-service assets,” said Pinheiro. “Our ‘think like an owner’s mentality to hotel management makes us a true partner to our clients, allowing us to execute on their objectives while maximizing cash flow and, in turn, asset value.”

The current portfolio of Resolute Road includes 15 properties totaling 1,732 rooms, with more properties in the pipeline.
