UNITED KINGDOM Tesla, the U.S. manufacturer of high-end electric automobiles, will install charging stations at 10 hotels across Great Britain in a bid to enhance its exposure in the market.
The charging stations, which will be free or available for nominal fees, will deliver 70 amps of electricity—enough to power a depleted battery in about three hours.
Tesla charging stations will be installed at:
- Macdonald Aviemore Highland Resort, Scotland
- Marriott Dalmahoy Hotel & Country Club, Kirknewton, Scotland
- Radisson Blu Hotel, Durham, England
- The Nottingham Belfry, England
- The Arden Hotel and Leisure Club, Bickenhill, England
- The Castle at Taunton, England
- Heath/Windsor Marriott Hotel, England
- The Moat House Acton Trussell, England
- Ashford International Hotel, England
The 10th hotel charging station will be installed at a yet-to-be-determined property in southern Wales.
