At the beginning of a new American football season, Marriott International kicked off a multi-year deal on Tuesday to become the exclusive lodging category sponsor of the National Football League.
The deal means Marriott brands will be the preferred choice for NFL business meetings and travel. It also means that Courtyard by Marriott will begin to offer NFL-themed guest offerings at its hotels.
“This is the marriage of two powerhouse brands,” said Brian King, senior vice president of select service and extended stay brand management at Marriott International. “Our Courtyard customer loves sports and we are excited to offer them access to one of the world’s most powerful professional sports brands.”
