ClubHotel Riu Palm Azur opens in Tunisia

DJERBA, TUNISIA Riu Hotels & Resorts has opened its 10th hotel in Tunisia and second on the island of Djerba, the 390-key oceanfront ClubHotel Riu Palm Azur.

The new 4-star all-inclusive hotel includes four restaurants, four bars, a spa, children’s club and two outdoor pools, along with a children’s pool and a heated indoor pool. F&B offerings include a main restaurant and Asian, Tunisian and Mediterranean specialty outlets.

Djerba Island is nicknamed the Mediterranean Garden for its lush vegetation and exotic cuisine. The 25-km-long island is located south of Tunisia and has golden beaches and crystal-clear waters.

Riu Hotels & Resorts now has more than 100 hotels in 19 countries and 23,400 employees, welcoming more than 3 million guests a year. Ris is the world’s 27th largest hotel company and is the fourth largest in its native Spain.
