Club lounges renovation is final phase of Sheraton revitalization effort

WHITE PLAINS, NEW YORK Sheraton Hotels & Resorts is in the process of upgrading 120 club lounges globally, marking the final phase of the brand’s US$6 billion revitalization effort.

The club lounges alone have seen investment of more than US$100 million, Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide Inc. says. Sheraton club lounges are now open seven days a week, in response to increased demand from premium corporate and leisure guests.

Sheraton club lounges can be accessed for an additional nightly fee, which averages US$75 a night. Amenities include complimentary breakfast, afternoon hors d’oeuvres, beverage service, flat-screen televisions, WiFi and a selection of daily newspapers.

“At a time when our competitors have scaled back their offerings, Sheraton has done the opposite,” says Hoyt Harper, global brand leader. “We decided to invest even further in our global portfolio with significant enhancements to our club lounges in order to deliver a higher level of productivity and luxury to our guests—not just on weekdays, but every day of the week.”
