ATLANTA GTA by Travelport announces separate enhanced distribution deals with Choice Hotels International and The Address Hotels + Resorts.
The first agreement of its kind between GTA and Choice, the deal represents significant further global opportunities for both parties. Nearly half a million rooms in the Choice chain will be made available through GTA’s leading connectivity engine, providing agents and trade partners worldwide with instant access to multiple room categories and rate plans across the Choice portfolio.
Choice has 10 brands and one membership collection, each of which will be included in GTA’s extensive travel agency and supplier network in 130 territories worldwide.
“We have a longstanding relationship with GTA and regard them as a trusted partner,” says Michael Murphy, senior vice president of global sales for Choice. “We are delighted to announce this new multi-year contract which will aid our strategic expansion of our current static net rate agreements.”
The Address Hotels, which is the 5-star brand from Emaar Hospitality Group, is also adding all five of its Dubai properties to GTA. “Dubai is an important destination for GTA, with demand globally,” says Jesper With-Fogstrup, GTA’s vice president of global hotel strategy and EMEA sourcing. “The Address Hotels + Resorts range of 5-star premium hotel brands will allow our clients a wider choice at best-rate prices and availability when fulfilling travel plans for their customers.”
