Choice Hotels International has entered into an agreement to acquire Harvest Hosts, an American RV travel membership company, extending its footprint in the outdoor travel market. Choice is acquiring 100% of Harvest Hosts from Stripes, a New York-based growth equity firm, and other shareholders.
The all-cash transaction is valued at approximately $130 million and is expected to close on Oct 1st, 2026.

For an annual membership fee, Harvest Hosts’ “RVers” can stay overnight at more than 11,200 host locations across the U.S., including wineries, breweries, farms, golf courses, museums and other small businesses, with no nightly camping fees.
The company also operates an extended family of companies: Escapees RV Club, which offers community events, education, discounts and more; Boondockers Welcome, a community of RVers who host fellow travelers on their property for free; CampScanner, an alert service for booking sold-out campgrounds; and Brit Stops, a membership connecting motorhome travelers in the UK and Ireland with small businesses for overnight stays.

Harvest Hosts will continue to operate as a standalone business under its existing brand. Joel Holland will continue to lead it as CEO, and the full team will become Choice Hotels employees upon close.
