Carton House, A Fairmont-managed luxury hotel in Kildare, Ireland, has appointed Ivan King as general manager.
King brings extensive experience leading luxury hotels and resort destinations in Ireland. Before joining Carton House, King spent time at Luttrellstown Castle Resort, first as general manager and later as CEO, where he oversaw a significant period of transformation for the luxury estate.
Earlier in his career, King held senior leadership positions at The Shelbourne Dublin, Autograph Collection and served as bar and lounge manager at the Radisson Blu St. Helen’s Hotel.
In addition to his executive leadership roles, King is an active contributor to the hospitality industry within Ireland. He serves as a board director of the Irish Hospitality Institute and is Chair of IHI RISE, a platform dedicated to supporting and developing emerging hospitality leaders.
