IHG SIGNS VOCO IN INDIA: IHG Hotels & Resorts has signed a management agreement with Atharva Hotel Superfluities India Pvt. Ltd. for a new voco hotel in Gurugram, Haryana. This is India’s second voco brand signing in less than a month. The new 204-key voco Gurugram Golf Course Extension Road hotel is expected to open soon. The hotel will include an all-day dining restaurant, a lobby lounge, a bar, a pool, a gym, meeting rooms, and a business center. IHG currently operates 44 hotels in SWA across five brands, with a pipeline of 37 properties set to open in the next two to three years.

FOUR SEASONS ADDS IN MOROCCO: Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts has partnered with Atlantic Coast Hospitality, a subsidiary of Abu Dhabi-headquartered Q Holding, to announce plans for a new Four Seasons in Rabat at Kasr Al Bahr, Morocco, which will open later this year. Four Seasons Hotel Rabat at Kasr Al Bahr will be located within a 19th-century palace overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. The cliffside property will be renovated to include 204 rooms and suites, seven restaurants and lounges, a spa, an indoor pool, a conference and event space and multiple outdoor pools. The hotel’s restoration has been led by Morocco-based architect Karim Chakor of META Atelier d’Architecture, with Roger Nazarian and Associates designing the interiors, landscaping, and other features. Gregory Viaud has been named general manager of the hotel.

MR. C SEAPORT SALE CLOSES: The sale of Mr. C Seaport, the 66-key boutique luxury hotel, in Manhattan’s Seaport District, has closed. The seller was Atlantic Pearl Investments, Inc. The hotel reopened in 2018 following extensive renovations that saw the room count reduced from 72 to 66, allowing for larger rooms. The seller was represented by the JLL Hotels & Hospitality team.

MAIN STREET ADDS TWO PROPERTIES: Main Street Hospitality, based in Stockbridge, Mass., has assumed management of two new hotels: the 21-room Chebeague Island Inn on Chebeague Island, Maine and Port Cunnington Lodge in Dwight, Ontario. With these two additions, Main Street now has nine hotels across New England and Canada.

GRAVITY HAUS FORMS NEW FUND: Gravity Haus, the Colo.-based membership model-based social club, has entered into a strategic partnership with EPR Properties. EPR will provide $64.5 million of debt refinancing for Gravity Haus’ six properties. EPR and Gravity Haus have also entered into a relationship agreement to finance future acquisitions. Gravity Haus has contributed to its existing real estate assets into a new platform fund, GH Platform 1. Along with the existing real estate assets, the platform has improved access to additional equity capital from existing and new investors, which is further supported by the potential for additional funds from EPR. Four years since it was created, Gravity Haus has a portfolio of locations in Breckenridge, Vail, Winter Park, Truckee, Aspen and Steamboat Springs. The company plans to add new locations in adventure and urban destinations.
