HYATT PLACE OPENS HOTEL IN CHINA: Hyatt has announced the opening of the Hyatt Place Yantai Development Zone in China’s Shandong province. This is the first Hyatt Place hotel to open in the area and helps grow Hyatt Place’s footprint globally. The hotel features 512 rooms with separate spaces to sleep, play and work, multiple dining options, a fitness center, a swimming pool and event spaces totaling 3,229 square feet. Kevin Yu has been appointed as the hotel’s general manager, while Sam Liu has been appointed director of sales.

HOTEL EQUITIES ADDS TWO INDIANAPOLIS HOTELS TO MANAGEMENT PORTFOLIO: Hotel Equities has been appointed to manage two hotels in Indianapolis — Fairfield Inn & Suites Indianapolis Suites and Residence Inn Indianapolis Airport. The Fairfield Inn & Suites Indianapolis Suites (owned by JJI Group Inc) and Residence Inn Indianapolis Airport (owned by JJI Hospitality Inc.) are neighboring hotels situated two miles from the Indianapolis International Airport. Hotel Equities now operates 14 hotels across Indiana and has 12 airport hotels in its portfolio across the U.S. and Canada. Overall, the company’s portfolio includes 300 properties throughout the U.S. and Canada.
PAN PACIFIC SIGNS SERVICED SUITES IN BANGKOK: Pan Pacific Hotels Group, a member of the Singapore-listed UOL Group Ltd., has signed a new luxury development with Metro-Ply Family of Companies. Set to be located in the Thonglor district in Bangkok, Pan Pacific Serviced Suites Bangkok is expected to open in 2026. The 34-story building will be designed by Leo Design Group and will offer 191 suites furnished by Hong Kong-headquartered NIB Creation. The 14th floor will be dedicated to leisure amenities like a pool, poolside bar and restaurant, fitness center, wet spa, outdoor gardens and residents’ lounge.
FASANO GROUP OPENS SECOND HOTEL IN SAO PAULO: Fasano Group has opened its second property in Sao Paulo — Pasano Sao Paulo Itaim. Located in the Itaim-Bibi area, this marks the company’s 10th hotel. The hotel, which opened in May, was unveiled 20 years after the group opened Fasano Sao Paulo Jardins in the city. The new hotel has been designed by Marcio Kogan, who also worked on Fasano Sao Paulo Jardins. The 20-story consists of 107 rooms which are divided into six categories. The hotel includes a 100-seat restaurant, a private lounge, five spa treatment rooms, two saunas, a beauty salon, a gym, a bar, a pool and a business center with five meeting rooms. The property also features a residential building consisting of 70 apartments, a leisure area, gastronomic services and hospitality amenities.
RAMADA BY WYNDHAM IN GOA: Wyndham Hotels & Resorts has signed a franchise agreement with New Delhi-based R.K.M. Enterprises for a Ramada by Wyndham-branded hotel in Goa. Located in North Goa, Ramada by Wyndham Goa Arpora will open in 2024. The hotel will have 65 rooms, a lobby lounge, a wellness area, an all-day restaurant and bar, an event space and a business center. This will be the second Wyndham hotel for R.K.M. Enterprises, which also owns the Ramada by Wyndham Mussoorie Mall Road in northern India.
