The dual-branded hotel also has a restaurant, a fitness facility, and 8,355 square feet of event space, which includes two conference rooms and a pre-function area. RADISSON COLLECTION IN NIGERIA: Radisson Hotel Group has announced its ninth hotel in Nigeria with the signing of a Radisson Collection in Abuja. Radisson Collection Hotel & Conference Center, Abuja Nigeria will also mark the group’s third Radisson Collection-branded property in the country. The new-build hotel will feature 249 rooms, a lobby lounge and coffee bar, multiple restaurants, an onsite night club and 3,000 square meters of meeting space comprising a conference hall, five meeting rooms and a pre-function area. The opening is part of Radisson’s strategy to achieve 15 hotels in Nigeria by 2025.

HILTON ADDS SIX CONRAD HOTELS: Hilton added six new Conrad Hotels & Resorts globally in 2022, adding to its portfolio of 45 properties spread across five continents. There are 22 more Conrad hotels in the pipeline. The six new latest additions include Conrad Tulum Riviera Maya in Mexico; the 728-key Conrad Shanghai in China; Conrad Chia Laguna Sardinia in Italy; the 234-key Conrad Nashville, Tenn.; the 305-room Conrad Los Angeles; and Conrad Rabat Arzana in Morocco.

THE HOXTON DEBUTS IN GERMANY: The Hoxton will launch its first hotel in Germany with the Hoxton Charlottenburg in West Berlin. Expected to open in May, the 234-key hotel is designed by Ennismore’s in-house design team, AIME Studios. The hotel will feature The Apartment, a hybrid meeting and event space, a coffee bar and a restaurant. Inspired by the neighborhood, which was the heart of Berlin’s creative rebirth during the Golden 1920s, the rooms’ décor has been done up in Art Nouveau forms. The opening is part of The Hoxton’s strategy to open seven new hotels in Europe by 2024.

SECOND ANANTARA IN ITALY: Minor Hotels has announced that Anantara Convento di Amalfi Grand Hotel will open this spring, following extensive renovation and restorations. The heritage, 52-key hotel, housed in a 13th-century monastery and former Cappuccini Friars Convent, will feature a new look, enhanced dining venues and a redesigned spa. All rooms and public spaces at the 800-year building will be rejuvenated, with the on-property Baroque Church maintaining its original marble altar and Majolica floor. The suites will retain their terraces with plunge pools and views of the Amalfi Coast, and the pool area will be redesigned with custom-made furniture. Earlier operating as the NH Collection Grand Hotel Convento di Amalfi, this will be the second Anantara property in Italy and the brand’s eighth in Europe.
