Charlestowne and Thrash: Charleston, South Carolina-based management company Charlestowne Hotels has entered into a formal agreement with The Thrash Group, a national hospitality development company, to oversee their entire portfolio of hotels. Under this new agreement, Charlestowne will add ten properties to its portfolio – the management company’s largest single deal in its 40-year history. Five of the newly added properties are part of Origin Hotel, an independent brand of lifestyle hotels. The partnership with Thrash adds over 1,200 keys to Charlestowne’s portfolio count and expands the management company’s national footprint to 50 hotels in over 20 states, including the group’s first properties in Kentucky, Colorado and Texas.
HVMG managing in Lexington: Atlanta-based, private hotel investment, ownership and management company Hospitality Ventures Management Group (HVMG) has signed a management agreement to operate the Inn On Broadway in Lexington, Kentucky. The four-story hotel will target both business and leisure travelers.
Davidson managing in Utah: Atlanta-based management company Davidson Hotels & Resorts has added the Snowpine Lodge to its portfolio. Located in Alta, Utah, the resort has 54 guest rooms and suites, 14 dorm beds, a spa, and over 10,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor event space. The resort is operated by Davidson’s lifestyle and luxury division Pivot Hotels & Resorts.
