Briefs: Arlington Hilton Garden Inn sells; The Newberry Hotel rebrands

ARLINGTON HILTON GARDEN INN SELLS: Highline Hospitality Partners (HHP), the hospitality investment platform launched by Highline Real Estate Partners, has acquired the Hilton Garden Inn Courthouse Arlington Courthouse Plaza. Other terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. This marks HHP’s first property in the Washington, D.C. metro area, bringing the group’s total portfolio to 12 hotels totaling 3,400 keys. The 193-room, premium select-service hotel is located in Arlington’s Rosslyn-Ballston corridor. Built in 2002, the hotel features newly renovated rooms, a restaurant, fitness center, 3,000 square feet of meeting space and an underground garage. The hotel will be managed by Stepstone Hospitality, marking the fourth collaboration between Highline and Stepstone.

THE NEWBERRY HOTEL REBRANDS: Resolute Road Hospitality, a third-party management company, has announced the opening of The Newberry Hotel, A Tapestry Collection by Hilton in Bend, Ore. Earlier operating under the DoubleTree by Hilton brand, the hotel has undergone renovations and rebranding to convert it into an upscale, boutique property. The hotel features an onsite restaurant, a fitness center, an indoor pool, a boutique, business center and meeting rooms.

CAMBRIA OPENS FOUR HOTELS: Choice Hotels International has opened four Cambria Hotels across the U.S. These new additions join a collection of more than 70 open Cambria Hotels located around the country. The new destinations include the 153-room Cambria Hotel Denver Downtown RiNo, the 120-room Cambria Hotel Niagara Falls, the 115-key Cambria Hotel North Conway and the 106-key Cambria Hotel Rehoboth Beach. With more than 70 hotels across the U.S., Cambria Hotels’ is expanding into major cities in the country. These four properties participate in Choice’s loyalty program, Choice Privileges.

NEW RESORT IN JACKSON HOLE: Hotel Yellowstone at Jackson Hole has officially opened in Jackson Hole. The adults-only hotel sits atop the East Gros Ventre Butte and offers unobstructed views of the Teton Mountain Range and the Snake River Valley. The hotel has 36 suites, housed in clusters across the property’s 4 acres, along with a restaurant and bar, a heated indoor pool and a spa. The suites encompass 600 square feet of indoor and outdoor space, with each having a private balcony.
