Brazil Hospitality announces 7-hotel expansion

Brazil Hospitality Group announced on Wednesday that it added seven hotels to its portfolio in Brazil with a series of management agreements.

All the hotels are currently under development and were signed through the São Paulo-based company’s affiliate Solare.

The first of these hotels to open will be the 384-room Gran Solare Resort e Suites, located in Maceio and scheduled to open by the end of 2012. In 2013 a 120-room Golden Tulip and a 150-room Tulip Inn will open in Maraba. In 2014 a 196-room Soft Inn located in Imperatriz and 121-room Tulip Inn located in Castanhal will open and in 2015 a 249-room Soft Inn located in Maceio and a 360-room Gran Solare Suites located in Imperatriz will open.

“We are following the company’s strategic plan, increasing our presence in places where there is economic growth and demand for hotels,” said Pieter van Voorst Vader, BHG CEO.

With the new hotels BHG, which currently has 45 owned and managed hotels totaling 8,322 guestrooms will increase to approximately 12,400 at the end of 2015, distributed in 65 hotels across Brazil.
