Marriott and Renaissance Caribbean & Mexico Resorts launched on Wednesday a contest for couples that are followers of the company’s Facebook fan page to win a free resort trip in exchange for blog submissions.
Not just any blog submission, either, but one detailing exactly why the couple needs a trip in the Caribbean sun to breathe new life into their romance. From July 15-28 applicants can submit a written narrative or short video clip via the Facebook fan page detailing why they and their significant other are the ideal duo to win a chance for a free trip as part of the “Resort to Romance” contest.
Following the submission period, 10 deserving finalists will be chosen and then voted on by fan page followers. The two finalists with the most votes will receive a five-day/four-night stay in an ocean-view room with all resort meals included, as well as a resort credit, welcome amenity and activities unique to the chosen resort such as snorkeling, sailing or a destination tour. The resorts winners can choose from include the collection’s Aruba, Grand Cayman, St. Thomas, St. Kitts, Curacao, Cancun, Mexico, and Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, locations.
Each blogging twosome will chronicle their stay by creating and posting at least three blog entries per day, to be published on www.paradisebymarriott.com/resort-to-romance and the Facebook fan page.
