Best Western UK partners with Virgin Atlantic on loyalty collaboration

YORK, ENGLAND Best Western Hotels Great Britain has launched a global partnership deal with carrier Virgin Atlantic on a mutual loyalty club scheme.

Guests of Best Western hotels in the UK can earn free flights around the world on Virgin Atlantic. Best Western Rewards members can collect Virgin Atlantic Frequent Flyer Club Miles, witth every stay worth 500 miles.

“The partnership between Best Western and Virgin Atlantic is a great strategic fit with the personality of both brands working well together,” says Best Western UK Director Keith Pope. “We worked on the deal in the British office, and thanks to the dedication of the team involved, we have seen the partnership develop to a global scale with all international offices participating in the scheme.”

As part of the new partnership, Best Western has filmed an advertisement at Best Western Queen Hotel, Chester, that harkens to an iconic ad made by Virgin Atlantic 25 years ago. “We are very pleased to be working with Best Western in this partnership, which gives our customers more rewards and choice when flying with Virgin Atlantic,” says Paul Dickinson, sales and marketing director for Virgin Atlantic. “Our 25th birthday advertising campaign was a real hit with audiences in the UK, and we are very impressed and flattered by the Best Western recreation.”
