Barrière has announced the opening of Fouquet’s Mykonos, marking the brand’s first location in Greece and expanding its presence beyond Paris, New York, Courchevel and Saint-Barthélemy.
Located on Paraga Beach in southern Mykonos, the property overlooks the Aegean Sea and offers direct beach access. The hotel was designed by Divercity Architects and reflects Cycladic traditions through clean lines and natural materials. The development includes 61 suites and three villas.
The property features an indoor swimming pool, a rare amenity on the island, along with a basketball court carved into rock. Wellness facilities include The Rock Spa, developed in partnership with Dr. Barbara Sturm, offering hyperbaric oxygenation, a floatation tank and an ice bath. An on-site restaurant, created in partnership with Roka, provides a dining venue within the hotel.

Fouquet’s Mykonos is positioned as a private retreat integrated into its natural surroundings. Private pools, panoramic terraces and access to coves are part of the design, with an emphasis on maintaining a connection to the landscape.
The project was developed in partnership with Yoda Group and is operated by Barrière Group under a management agreement.
“With this opening, Barrière reaffirms its ambition to expand its brands into strategic international destinations, offering unique experiences at the intersection of hospitality, gastronomy and the art of living.”
“The opening of Fouquet’s Mykonos marks an important milestone in our international expansion,” said Grégory Rabuel, CEO of the Barrière Group. “By establishing our first presence in Greece, we are pursuing our ambition to accompany our guests to the destinations they travel to, with venues that combine excellence, identity and emotion. Mykonos was an obvious choice, thanks to its ability to bring together natural beauty, cultural influence and international appeal.”
