Baccarat Hotels launches opulent $300k package

Baccarat Hotel New York has launched The Heritage Experience, a 12-day, US$300,000 journey that spans the United States, Europe and Asia, immersing guests in the opulence of the Baccarat brand, which represents more than 250 years of history and modernity.

The 11-night, 12-day Heritage Experience traverses three continents and highlights destinations that have played a unique role in the history of Baccarat crystal. The trip begins at the first Baccarat Hotel New York, which brings the brand to life in a setting encompassing fine dining, shopping and the excitement of New York City. From there, guests jet to France to experience the rarefied Maison Baccarat and a trip to the Baccarat manufacturing house to meet Baccarat artisans.

As an example of the itinerary, on day four of the event, the first full day in Paris, guests will be chauffeured to Maison Baccarat. Originally the residence of Marie Laure de Noailles, the Maison still holds echoes of conversations that took place amongst the most acclaimed artists and intellectuals of the twentieth century. From Jean Cocteau to Dali and Man Ray to Luchino Visconti: a witness to memorable moments of the world’s most significant history and culture. Guests will embark on a private tour of the Maison and Musée Baccarat by the director of the Heritage Department. The Musée is home to major works created by Baccarat for World Fairs, Heads of State, Royal Courts and celebrities. The excursion will end with a private lunch in the Maison’s Cristal Room. In the afternoon a visit to the Louvre will allow further exploration into the world of Baccarat via the chandeliers in the apartments of the Duc de Morny and the dressing table of the Duchesse de Berry.

Additional trips to Istanbul, Moscow and Seoul round out the Heritage Experience to help travelers understand the role Baccarat has played in global capital cities.

The US$300,000 price tag includes private aviation, 5-star accommodations, airport transfers and meals and the activities. Pricing is based on double occupancy. Taxes and fees will apply. Experience must be booked 30 days in advance of expected departure and blackout dates may apply.

Baccarat Hotels & Resorts launched in March 2015 with the opening of its flagship New York property, followed by Rabat, Morocco, in 2016, with additional openings in Dubai and Doha over the course of the next several years.
