Artists in residence are nothing new at hotels, but Andaz Wall Street in New York City is putting a twist on that convention by welcoming an accountant in residence.
From April 8 to April 15, certified public accountant Marc Albaum will live in the hotel and file taxes for guests free of charge in advance of the April 15 deadline. Through the program, the hotel is aiming to accommodate the demanding schedules of frequent business travelers and provide guests the ease of filing their taxes on the road.
Guests must email with 72 hours notice to secure an hour-long appointment with Albaum.
“Only two things are certain in life,” Albaum joked. “I can help you with the other one.”
