Aleph Hospitality to operate and develop Fauchon’s hotels in the Middle East and Africa

Aleph Hospitality, the Dubai-based independent hotel management company, has signed an agreement with Fauchon Hospitality to expand and operate the brand’s luxury hotel portfolio in the Middle East and Africa. Aleph Hospitality has now become the exclusive developer and operator of the Fauchon L’Hôtel portfolio in the region.

Aiming at luxury leisure destinations and cosmopolitan cities, the Fauchon L’Hôtel portfolio will consist of boutique hotels, residences, beach clubs and retreats with culinary concepts and private services.

Each property will also offer signature Fauchon dining concepts like the Grand Café Fauchon and retail.

“The Middle East and Africa region are important to Fauchon Hospitality because a large part of our customer base is located in this area and familiar with our existing Fauchon retail outlets. With Aleph, we can be confident our signature Fauchon style and service will be flawlessly delivered to customers across the region as we grow our hospitality business. I am excited about the potential of this partnership which unites a powerful, globally recognized brand together with an operating company noted for its excellence and dynamic management style,” said Fauchon Hospitality CEO Jacques-Olivier Chauvin.

Fauchon, founded in 1886 by Auguste Fauchon, is a luxury contemporary gastronomy brand with a “unique French DNA.” Fauchon Hospitality is Fauchon’s hotel unit and was founded in 2018. The brand’s portfolio includes 100 retail boutiques, gourmet cafes and restaurants in 50 countries. Fauchon’s first luxury boutique — Fauchon L’Hôtel Paris — opened in 2018, followed by the opening of Fauchon L’Hôtel Kyoto in 2021, the brand’s first property in a global destination.

The brand’s concept is based on GLAM — Gourmet, featuring Fauchon’s reinvented in-room minibar; Location, for a luxurious lifestyle; Arty & Artisans, for creative hotel experiences and services and Mesdames, the brand’s feminine touch personified by spa, bath amenities, in-room lighting and walk-in wardrobes.

Fauchon Hospitality currently has five hotels in its pipeline and aims to establish a global presence with a portfolio of 20 luxury properties by 2030.

“We look forward to delivering the brand’s legendary glamorous Parisian ‘art the vivre’ experience to hotel guests in the Middle East and Africa. We believe the region has tremendous potential for the aspirational and sophisticated brand experience offered by Fauchon L’Hôtel,” said Bani Haddad, founder and managing director of Aleph Hospitality.

Aleph Hospitality manages properties directly for owners, either with a franchise for branded hotels or as a white-label operator for independently branded properties. The company’s portfolio currently consists of 12 operating hotels, with a pipeline of 50 hotels in the Middle East and Africa region planned by 2026.
