Aimbridge Hospitality picks up Delta Marriott Orlando Celebration in Florida

Aimbridge Hospitality will operate the Delta Marriott Orlando Celebration, a 718-key full-service resort in Kissimmee, Fla. Accesso, an investment manager and operator of multi-tenant office, mixed-use and multifamily assets, has acquired the hotel.

The resort sits 1.5 miles from Walt Disney World and next to Ovation, Accesso’s 77-acre, 650,000-plus-square-foot mixed-use development, which is advancing toward vertical construction. The Delta Hotels by Marriott franchise is secured through 2042 and provides access to Marriott Bonvoy’s global distribution platform.

The resort recently underwent a renovation that included a redesigned lobby with open-concept seating and refreshed restaurant and bar spaces. It has more than 13,000 square feet of meeting and event space, two outdoor pools, sports courts, a fitness center and a complimentary theme park shuttle. Food and beverage outlets include Waves Bar & Grill, The Pointe and the Rum Shack Pool Bar.

Accesso plans to add roughly 10,000 square feet of meeting space to the convention facility and renovate the lobby to include additional meeting rooms.

“We look forward to working alongside Aimbridge to unlock the full potential of this asset,” said Moises Benzaquen, founding & managing partner, finance of Accesso. “Orlando is a leading U.S. market for hotel value appreciation, and this property is exceptionally well positioned to benefit from both the market’s existing demand drivers and the transformative development activity happening directly next door,” said Alan Garzon, managing partner of Accesso Development.

“Hospitality assets are critical components of any destination-oriented mixed-use project, and having the Marriott as an adjacent anchor for Ovation will create a seamless experience for visitors,” said Ariel Bentata, founding & managing partner, investments of Accesso.

Ovation Orlando will include retail, restaurants, art installations, a 1,000-seat theater, a 35,000-plus-square-foot convention center and a Curio Collection by Hilton hotel.

“We know better than anyone how to maximize value for owners and guests, and we are committed to operating this flagship asset to the highest quality standards,” stated Eric Jacobs, chief global growth officer of Aimbridge Hospitality. “Our priority is to deliver a guest experience that supports long-term performance and helps ownership realize the property’s full potential,” said Chris Tatum, president, full-service division at Aimbridge Hospitality.
