Aimbridge Hospitality launches new labor management tool

Aimbridge Hospitality has launched a proprietary labor tool across its portfolio called Labor Insight & Forecasting Tool or Lift, which brings together labor data from multiple systems into one connected view, giving property and finance leaders a common reference for planning labor daily, weekly and monthly.

LIFT applies data science and AI-assisted forecasting to labor planning, giving leaders a real-time view of staffing needs. Staffing levels affect the guest experience that drives repeat bookings and occupancy, while scheduling affects GOP flow-through and associate turnover.

“Launching LIFT reflects Aimbridge’s broader commitment to invest in technology that directly supports owner profitability. We have a tremendous amount of data across our hotels, and we want to use it to help our teams act quickly and give owners a clear line of sight into how those decisions show up in hotel performance,” said Keryn McNamara, chief information officer of Aimbridge.

The platform connects three core pieces of labor management — forecasting, scheduling and execution — into a single view, so property and regional teams can see where labor and demand are drifting out of alignment before they actualize. This allows leaders to adjust staffing proactively, before a property is over- or under-staffed. LIFT leverages existing property system data and automatically updates, reducing administrative burden on hotel teams.

Results from the company’s recent pilot showed labor productivity gains, with the biggest improvements in housekeeping and laundry. Scheduling accuracy improved, bringing planned and actual labor into closer alignment without a tradeoff to the guest or team experience. Early results after the full rollout show similar gains.

“Labor is typically one of the hardest areas to get right, but one of the most consequential in determining profitability of a hotel,” said Chris O’Donnell, president of select service of Aimbridge Hospitality. “It’s difficult to determine the true cost of a staffing decision if you don’t have visibility until the financials come out later. LIFT puts forecasting, scheduling and real-time execution on one screen, so our leaders catch a staffing gap the moment it happens.”

LIFT is the second proprietary technology platform Aimbridge introduced in 2026, following S.P.A.R.K. earlier this year.
