ADA Cosmetics has recertified its entire product portfolio at Cradle to Cradle Certified® Full Scope Silver under the Version 4.0 standard, building on the Silver designation it first attained in 2023.Â
The recertification required a science-based assessment across five categories: material health, product circularity, clean air and climate protection, water and soil stewardship and social fairness. Requirements include a clear climate strategy, circular product and packaging development, comprehensive wastewater management, a human rights policy and regular social audits at production sites.
“For ADA Cosmetics, the Cradle to Cradle Certified® Full Scope Silver status is more than a label; it is a key milestone in our sustainability journey,” Gerd von Podewils, CMO at ADA Cosmetics. “By meeting the demands of one of the most ambitious and transparent sustainability certifications worldwide, we prove our commitment to providing hotels with outstanding products they can trust for their guests and for the environment.”
The certified portfolio covers ADA Cosmetics’ full range of hotel amenities. All formulations are dermatologically tested, skin pH-neutral and enriched with natural ingredients. The portfolio also includes recyclable dispenser systems and refill solutions.
The certification carries direct value for hotels pursuing third-party sustainability recognition. GreenSign, recognized by the Global Sustainable Tourism Council, awards additional audit points for the use of Cradle to Cradle Certified products. The Green Key, a widely recognized hospitality sustainability label, also recognizes ADA Cosmetics’ certified products.
ADA Cosmetics also received the EcoVadis Gold Medal for the second consecutive year, scoring 80/100 and placing in the top five percent of companies evaluated globally by EcoVadis.
