ADA Cosmetics, a Kehl, Germany-based supplier of hotel personal care products and dispensing systems serving more than 30,000 customers in 115 countries, has published its 2025 Sustainability Report, covering emissions, circularity, product development and responsible business practices.
The company received an EcoVadis Gold medal for the second consecutive year, placing it among the top 5 percent of companies assessed worldwide. Its CDP Climate Change rating improved from C to B, and its core product portfolio was recertified Cradle to Cradle Certified Full Scope Silver under the Version 4.0 standard.
Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions are 67 percent below the 2022 base year, and Scope 3 emissions are down 31 percent. ADA Cosmetics sourced 100 percent renewable electricity across all offices and manufacturing sites for the second consecutive year. TÜV SÜD independently verified the company’s 2024 corporate carbon footprint under ISO 14064 and the GHG Protocol.
For hotels, the company reported progress on its Refillution automated refill system, which it says can cut plastic consumption by up to 95 percent and provides full batch traceability. Refillution was a finalist in the “Resources” category of the German Sustainability Award 2025. ADA Cosmetics also manufactured 18 percent fewer small portions than in 2024 as it shifts to dispensers, which it says can reduce plastic use by 75 percent compared with small portions.
The report also identifies workplace safety and the share of RSPO-certified palm oil ingredients as areas needing further progress.
ADA Cosmetics is no longer subject to the EU’s Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive following the Omnibus procedure but continues to report voluntarily. The report follows the Basic and Comprehensive modules of the Voluntary Sustainability Reporting Standard for Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises and includes selected European Sustainability Reporting Standards disclosures.
“Sustainability is not an image campaign. It is a continuous process that requires ongoing decisions, adjustments, and transparency,” said Lutz Hübner, CEO of ADA Cosmetics.
In 2025, the company became part of Pink Planet Group, alongside BWT Water Dispensing and BWT water+more. The group aims to reduce single-use materials, transportation and resource consumption in the hospitality sector.
