Accor has announced the Savour, Snap, Share social media campaign in Asia to bring together social media, food and selfies. Hotel guests are being asked to share “food-fies,” selfies with food from Accor’s properties around the world, on the company’s Facebook, Instagram and Weibo pages.
The contest will run from February 10 through March 9 and is open to legal residents of Singapore, China, India, Korea, Thailand and Vietnam. Winners will be chosen weekly for dining vouchers and Accor Advantage Plus memberships and one grand prize winner will receive a two-night stay at any participating Accor hotel. The grand prize winner will be selected based on the number of “likes” accumulated over the campaign.
According to the 2014 Accor Hotels Asia Pacific Social Media Monitor, 77% of travelers took photos during their last trip. Respondents from Southeast Asia reportedly are more likely to have taken photos. The survey also found that women are more likely to take photos than men.
