1,252-key Buffalo Bill’s Resort closes for renovations

PRIMM, NEVADA Herbst Gaming’s 1,242-key Buffalo Bill’s Resort & Casino is closed until Christmas Eve for a major renovation of its guestrooms and casino.

The resort, located in the town of Primm on the Nevada-California border, is remodeling its guestrooms, adding an energy-efficiency program and opening a Denny’s Restaurant on site.

Herbst is redirecting Buffalo Bill’s guests to its two other nearby resorts, Whiskey Pete’s Hotel & Casino and Primm Valley Resort & Casino.

December is typically a slow month for the gaming market outside Las Vegas, making it a logical time to shut the facility.

Buffalo Bill’s is operated by Primm Valley Casino Resorts. Guests are being directed to Whiskey Pete’s hotel and casino or the Primm Valley resort and casino. Combined, the three properties boast 2,643 guestrooms.
