The Hilton San Francisco Union Square Hotel recently unveiled its new 17,160-square foot (5,230.4 square-meter) lobby. Designed by Indidesign, the lobby was inspired by San Francisco’s “raw, yet detailed, steel structures, bridges, and turn-of-the-century flare.”
The color palette is comprised of gray and amber accented with steel blue and deep blue notes. Custom elements include a geometric light fixture, a commissioned abstract art piece situated behind the front desk, and amber carpet with a speckled pattern that mirrors the splatters and steaks of the giant accent wall.
The lobby also features a new bar and an Herb N’ Kitchen, an all-day restaurant serving a variety of coffee, meals, snacks and more.
