Wyndham unveils new logos, will redesign brand websites

PARSIPPANY, NEW JERSEY Wyndham Hotel Group announces a portfolio-wide redesign of its brand websites, and the company plans to hire additional “expert resources” to help manage them.

The redesign will include enhanced property content on brand websites and the development of a comprehensive content management strategy. With Wyndham’s concurrent announcement of the addition of Planet Hollywood Hotels to its portfolio, the company now manages or franchises 13 lodging brands.

Additionally, the company has unveiled new Wyndham Worldwide logos, including a new Wyndham Hotel Group logo, designed to create a more cohesive and consistent identity across all of the company’s business units.

A new Wyndham Rewards loyalty program logo and tagline, developed to be more memorable and consumer-friendly, have also been revealed. The new tagline, “Rewards right around the corner,” reinforces the ease of earning rewards and the breadth of the group’s portfolio. The program’s new collateral and advertisements showcase hotel brand logos and use photography in a way that creates a distinct, sophisticated look that is easily customized for a different season, region, destination or travel occasion.

Wyndham President and CEO Eric Danziger says the company will also refine its rate management strategy, organization and technology to ensure rate consistency across distribution channels. The company will move from two central reservation systems to a single platform, which will allow for easier rate loading and management.

Additionally, Wyndham will reposition its Wyndham Rewards loyalty program, including a fall promotion that features a variety of targeted offers to members based on purchase habits, including triple points and free nights

“We want long-term relationships, and to that end, we want to provide the best resources that we can so you can’t imagine being in business with anyone else,” Danziger says. “We want to be the company to be with and stay with.”
