The Lodge at Tiburon in Tiburon, California, has completed a nine-month renovation of its guestrooms, pool, lobby and the new Tiburon Tavern restaurant.
The new design has a warm coastal vibe.
The guestrooms have soft blues, greens and whites with new furniture, bedding, linens, flooring, artwork, televisions and bathroom updates. The lobby now has an iPad wall with apps available to help guests navigate the area around the hotel and provide recommendations.
Tiburon Tavern, the newly re-conceived restaurant, has been completely redesigned with new cocktails and a menu of upscale comfort food with coastal influences and fresh ingredients from Northern California. Jamie Prouten’s dishes include grilled cheese with tomato dip, seared ocean trout and a head-to-tail burger. The new interior uses reclaimed wood, Edison light bulbs and chalkboards for a rustic feel. The bar is made of repurposed barn wood and industrial metals, with 12 beers on tap as well as a self-service wine bar. Expanded patios and fireside dining round out the restaurant upgrades.
Pool renovations include new cabanas, lounges, tiling and structural improvements. The hotel also offers new poolside amenities such as plush towels and a menu of fun and creative food and beverages.
