Shangri-La’s Rasa Ria Resort, Kota Kinabalu in Borneo has opened its newly renovated Garden Wing.
The resort spent some US$20 million to renovate 326 guestrooms, lobbies, lounges and a swimming pool.
The updated guestrooms offer traditional local artwork and modern technology, including international satellite television and Wi-Fi. Guestrooms have views of the resort’s gardens, the Borneo rainforest, or the property’s beach on the South China Sea.
The renovation project also added a 40-ft. (12-m.) pool slide.
