In an homage to César Ritz and just in time for Paris Fashion Week, the Ritz Paris debuted this week a new Ritz Bar featuring a focal point called The Star Ritual.
Guided by 12 astrological signs, patrons will see the Ritz Bar’s monumental brass lantern rise and project a map of the night sky on the ceiling. Situated at the center of an 80 square-meter space, a circular bar is crowned by the lantern that stands 2.5 meters high in chiseled brass.
The 5:30 p.m. daily ritual will be accompanied with music by DJs Polo and Pan, who composed an exclusive melody for the experience.
The bar is structured by columns, ample curtains, carpeting and furniture in brass and amber velvet that highlights the hotel’s historical architecture.
In addition to wines and spirits, the menu will offer 12 astrological-inspired cocktails accompanied by a short list of tapas for sharing.
