The Hilton Chicago has completed a US$1.8 million renovation of its Conrad Suite, which it says is the largest suite in the American Midwest.
The suite’s great room has a new layout with a color palette that includes neutrals, white trim, dark parquet floors, and a marble fireplace with an embellished stone mantle. The space also includes a hidden television and a grand piano.
The suite occupies two floors, with views of Chicago’s Grant Park and Michigan Avenue. Hilton Worldwide says every U.S. President since Ronald Reagan has stayed in the suite.
The suite includes a dining room that seats 14, a library with a pool table and bar, a private kitchen and three bedrooms that each have full bathrooms.
All three bedrooms have been redone. Each now has a semi-private gathering space within the bedroom as well as new dressing rooms with “night-cap bars.” The bathrooms are finished with natural stone, freestanding bathtubs and glass showers.
