Four Seasons owner and Beanie Baby mogul Ty Warner curated the renovation’s design, with interiors that reflect the modern-deco style of architect I.M Pei, who designed the Four Seasons Hotel New York and who also coordinated the $50 million redesign of the hotel’s 4,300-square-foot penthouse in 1999.

The new guestrooms are furnished with handmade king-sized lighted-pedestal beds with custom linens and handcrafted furnishings are made from Japanese tamo ash and cerused oak. Distinctive English Sycamore wood paneling is featured throughout with custom-woven, wool carpets and hand- knotted rugs decorating the living spaces.

Each of the newly designed 368 studio and suite accommodations have oversized windows that can actually be opened, with panoramic views of Manhattan. All accommodations have custom-designed ziggurat ceilings with variable lighting.

Bathrooms are decked out with Italian marble and include separate glass enclosed showers, oversized deep-soaking tubs, many with Jacuzzis, and remote controlled mirrored televisions. Accommodations additionally feature curved 65-inch and curved 55-inch HD televisions, oversized walk-in English Sycamore closets with separate make-up areas, and original artworks.
