The Ritz-Carlton, San Juan has completed a multimillion-dollar renovation of its 416 guestrooms and suites designed to embrace the tropical ambiance and rich heritage of Puerto Rico through a display of lively colors, sophisticated furnishings and contemporary paintings.
Jeffery Beers International redesigned each guestroom and suite to showcase a color palette of canary yellow contrasted by deep aqua blue details and watery teal punctuated by chartreuse detailing, reminiscent of Puerto Rico’s azure waters and tropical surroundings.
Existing furniture pieces and soft goods have been refurbished with a rich chocolate brown finish and satin nickel decorative hardware. Each room now features a fully upholstered bed in a light textured fabric, featuring a button-less tufted headboard with embroidered bedding. Adjacent to each bed is a chaise lounge chair, and desks feature new ergonomic chairs upholstered in cream leather. Artwork features abstracted themes of nature and world travel.
