Valor Hospitality grows UK portfolio to 40 hotels

Valor Hospitality Partners said it grew its portfolio from 17 hotels in 2021 to now 40 properties today, more than doubling its market presence over five years. The growth brings the company’s UK operations to more than 7,000 rooms and reflects continued expansion activity across multiple brands and locations.

The company’s recent portfolio growth includes the addition of four hotels that transitioned from Tower Hotel Management. These properties are the Crowne Plaza Aberdeen Airport, Holiday Inn Express Aberdeen Airport, Holiday Inn Express Trafford City and Hampton by Hilton Liverpool John Lennon Airport. Together, the four hotels add approximately 700 bedrooms, 17 meeting rooms and a range of food and beverage services to Valor’s UK portfolio.

Valor Hospitality is headquartered in the United States and launched its European operations in 2014 with the management of 11 IHG-branded hotels. Since then, the company has expanded its footprint in the UK as part of a broader global portfolio. As of 2026, Valor manages more than 100 properties across 65 cities and 22 countries worldwide. The company was founded in Atlanta, Georgia, in 2012 by Euan McGlashan and Steve Cesinger.

In parallel with portfolio expansion, Valor has continued to invest in workplace culture within its UK operations. The company has been included in The Times Best Places to Work list for two consecutive years and was named best employer in the hospitality spotlight category in 2025.

“We have come a long way since 2014. Our success has been a function of hard work, a strong focus on the delivery of excellence and a commitment to creating a great working environment. While these have been key, the real cornerstone has been the delivery of exceptional commercial results for our owners. I would like to say thank you to the owners who have trusted us to deliver on their behalf and who have afforded us the opportunities to develop our business. While the environment might be unpredictable, I am confident that our best days lie ahead of us. Here’s to the next key milestone,” said Brian McCarthy, Valor Hospitality’s UK president.

The UK expansion also contributes to Valor’s wider international growth strategy, which has seen the company increase its managed portfolio across multiple regions and brand affiliations.

“We are proud to be steadily expanding our footprint and strengthening our presence across multiple brands and markets, driven by our commitment to operational excellence, guest-centric innovation and a people-first culture. As we welcome the four new hotels into the Valor portfolio, we believe it reinforces our position as one of the most forward-thinking and fastest-growing hospitality management companies in the world. A world of constant change, which excites us and which we embrace, yet one where we remain firmly grounded by our DNA of an incredible culture, wrapped in commerciality, while building a loyal following of guests,” said Euan McGlashan, global co-founder and CEO of Valor Hospitality Partners.

With 40 hotels now operating in the UK, Valor Hospitality continues to scale its presence through management transitions and portfolio additions while maintaining its focus on hotel operations and owner partnerships.
