Tulip Group Thailand to develop in Pattaya

Tulip Group Thailand and Golden Tulip Hotels and Resorts are partnering on a new-build, mixed-use hotel and condominium development in central Pattaya, Thailand.

Golden Tulip Hotel and Residence Pattaya will include a 200-room, 4-star Golden Tulip Hotel and six managed condominium buildings on a 16,500 sq m (177,600 sq ft) property, which Tulip Group Thailand bought in September for 500 billion baht (US$16.2 million).

Tulip Group Thailand said the hotel will have a swimming pool and fitness rooms separate from those for condiminium owners, while both condo owners and hotel guests can use the hotel’s restaurants and bars.

“We have made a significant investment in order to secure this plot of land, but we feel the area is continually growing and we see no reason to dwell on how much we paid for the land, our goal now is to construct a true resort in the city. Our team has worked extremely hard to design this mixed-use development, and we are very happy to be working with Golden Tulip, who will not only mange the hotel but also the entire complex,” said Kobi Elbaz, Tulip Group Thailand CEO.
