VAIL, COLORADO Timbers Resorts has rebranded its 107-key Vail Plaza Hotel & Club as The Sebastian Vail.
A member of Preferred Hotels & Resorts, The Sebastian is being positioned as Vail’s newest boutique hotel and residence club. Located at the gateway to Vail Village, The Sebastian will be marketed as offering luxurious privacy while being only steps away from the slopes and numerous Vail restaurants, galleries, bars and boutiques.
The Sebastian unveils a new fine dining restaurant, Block 16; a destination spa, Bloom; a local hot spot, Frost Bar; a gourmet cafe, Market; 8,000 sq. ft. of meeting and conference space; and a Private Residence Club comprised of 36 luxury residences.

Burden. “We have expanded our brand into hotel and restaurant management so that we can ensure the highest quality of standards and the experience that our owners and guests have come to expect from Timbers Resorts’ properties worldwide.”
Michael Oprish, former general manager of Bernardus Lodge in Carmel, California, has been appointed GM of The Sebastian.
Nightly standard guestroom rates range from US$295 to US$884, depending on the season.
