Bahama’s The Cove Eleuthera completes renovation

The Cove Eleuthera in the Bahamas has completed a full-property renovation, finalizing a multiyear upgrade. The resort, owned by Tanzerra Resorts, now features redesigned spaces, improved guest accommodations and enhanced outdoor areas.

Completed in late 2024, Phase III adds the finishing touches. This final phase of the renovation included updates to the main infinity pool terrace, dining and lounge areas, a fire pit and beachfront furnishings. New landscaping and pathways now connect guests to private outdoor spaces with views of the Caribbean. The project also introduced two new communal areas: a library focused on the island’s history and an entry pergola.

“This third phase of the renovation has launched a brand-new resort with immersive experiences and greater links to the community of Gregory Town,” said Sally Cooper, The Cove’s resort manager. “The updated interiors integrate our core values into every space. There is a real sense of tranquility and calmness in the new design.”

BAR Architects & Interiors led the renovation with a focus on blending in the resort’s natural surroundings. Previous phases improved guest suites and villas, added a two-bedroom villa, and upgraded Freedom Restaurant and Sushi Bar. The property spans 40 acres with 22 rooms, nestled between two private beach coves.

“The renovation speaks to The Cove’s commitment to an unparalleled guest experience,” said Timothy Hepworth, director of BAR Interiors. “Each space is elegantly detailed to reflect the serenity of the island while embedding a fresh, approachable aesthetic.”

The updated design reflects island living, incorporating natural materials and open spaces. The resort now offers an immersive experience with connections to the local Gregory Town community.
