Tharaldson Motels introduces new identity, leadership

Tharaldson Motels, Fargo, North Dakota, is rolling out a new identity as new leadership joins the company, which has a portfolio that will total 201 hotels across 15 brands by the end of the year.

The company is now known as TMI Hospitality Inc., marking the official adoption of an acronym that had been used internally.

Fargo businessman Lauris Molbert took over as CEO and board chair last August. More recently, Lisa Helbling joined TMI as chief financial officer, Robert “Butch” McConn Jr. became general counsel and Tracy Koenig was named chief information officer as well as president of TMI Communications Inc., the telecommunications division of TMI Hospitality.

“We are an organization with incredible talent and skills,” Molbert said. “We intend to renew our focus on developing new properties and providing service that impresses our guests who stay in our 13,000 rooms.”
