Steigenberger announces 3 more hotels in China

Steigenberger Hotel Group, Frankfurt, Germany, announced on Monday that in addition to opening its first hotel in China this December, it will also open three hotels in China over the next three years.

These include:

  • The 102-room Steigenberger Resort & Spa Haitang Bay, located in Sanya and set to open in January 2015. The hotel will include a Chinese restaurant, the Café Berlin, a lounge and bar and a health and beauty spa area.
  • The 280-room Steigenberger Hotel Shaohai, located in Quindao, scheduled to open in the winter of 2015-16. The hotel will feature a conference area, spa, gym facility with a swimming pool and three restaurants — a Chinese restaurant, the Thomas Brauhaus and the Café Max.
  • The 300-room Steigenberger Hotel Yubei, located in Congquing and set to open in 2016. The hotel will feature 2,000 sq m (21,527 sq ft) of conference facilities including a ballroom, two Chinese restaurants, the Café Berlin, the Paulaner Brauhaus, a deli, a Lobby Lounge and a bar.

The 286-room The Hotel Maximilian, managed by Steigenberger and located in Beijing will become the first Steigenberger establishment to open in China when it launches on December 1.
