stayAPT Suites has signed a multi-location franchise agreement with Destiny Partners for five new locations in Pennsylvania. The extended-stay brand will open properties in Lancaster, Reading, York, Bethlehem and Allentown, further expanding its footprint in the Northeast.
Each stayAPT Suites property offers apartment-style accommodations with full-sized kitchens, dedicated living rooms and separate bedrooms. The design provides flexibility for guests staying short- or long-term. The first Pennsylvania location will open in Lancaster, featuring 94 rooms in a four-story layout. Construction is set to begin in the spring of 2025.
“Our partnership with Destiny Partners marks an important step in stayAPT Suites’ national growth,” said Gary DeLapp, president and CEO of stayAPT Suites. “This expansion strengthens our presence in the Northeast, bringing our apartment-style concept to key markets in Pennsylvania. Guests will continue to experience full-size living spaces with the convenience and consistency of a hotel.”
stayAPT Suites operates within the mid-scale extended-stay segment, focusing on efficient design and operations. Its prototype supports various markets with streamlined staffing and operating costs. The model appeals to a broad range of travelers, including business professionals, relocating families and long-term guests in need of temporary housing.
“As the hospitality industry evolves, stayAPT Suites provides guests with an experience that combines home-like living with hotel convenience,” said DeLapp.
Destiny Partners, LLC evaluated multiple extended-stay brands before selecting stayAPT Suites. “Their on-site management structure and operational efficiency create strong potential for high margins,” said Shakher Patel, co-founder of Destiny Partners, LLC.
“The business model, emphasizing a low employee count and streamlined amenities, sets it apart. Additionally, guest reviews reflect a high level of satisfaction. The flexibility stayAPT Suites offers in adapting to our needs while maintaining a consistent guest experience makes it a strong investment.”
The extended-stay sector continues to see demand, with more travelers seeking accommodations that provide additional space and in-room amenities. stayAPT Suites aims to meet this demand with its apartment-style design and operational efficiency.
