Hilton has opened the first Spark by Hilton hotel in the Caribbean and Latin America with the debut of Spark by Hilton Ponce in Puerto Rico. The 120-room property is owned by Ponce Resorts Inc. and managed by HI Development P.R. Corp.

Spark by Hilton Ponce is located in Puerto Rico’s second-largest city and features modern Spanish architecture and a courtyard. The lobby includes seating from communal tables to individual workspaces. Guests have access to a complimentary hot breakfast, free parking, an outdoor pool, a fitness center, and more than 1,600 square feet of flexible event space for up to 120 people. The property is three miles from Mercedita International Airport and near the historic downtown, cultural sites, and shopping areas.

Spark is a conversion-only brand with over 200 open hotels and more than 190 in development. The brand offers flexible development options and support from Hilton. Spark by Hilton Ponce is part of Hilton’s portfolio of over ten hotels currently open in Puerto Rico. Hilton plans to double its presence on the island within four years and expand further in the Caribbean and Latin America, where it currently operates nearly 300 hotels and resorts with more than 160 additional properties in design or construction.
