Soho House continues to expand its footprint in the Americas with its plans to open a House in Charleston, S.C., and the confirmed opening dates of its first Latin American location in Mexico City this September. This November, Soho House will also debut its first House in the Pacific Northwest, Soho House Portland.
The global private members social club plans to expand further into cities and new territories in the Americas in 2024 and beyond.
“We have a lot of unique projects underway that are ‘firsts’ for Soho House, with Mexico City being our inaugural location in Latin America and Portland marking our entry into the Pacific Northwest,” said Jarrett Stuhl, COO- Americas, Soho House.
SOHO HOUSE CHARLESTON
Expected to open in 2024, Soho House Charleston will open on East Bay Street in the French Quarter of Charleston, S.C. The Victorian-era three-story Wagener Building will be reimagined to feature a public restaurant on the ground floor and members-only space on the other two floors.
The club will also include a rooftop bar and a dining area with city views.
SOHO HOUSE MEXICO CITY
In September, Soho House will open in Mexico City, its first location in Latin America. Located in Colonia Juárez, Soho House Mexico City will be housed in a restored casa and will consist of three bars and lounges, a restaurant, a courtyard and an outdoor swimming pool with a European-inspired pool house.
The House will also have a permanent art collection showcasing more than 100 artworks by artists born, based or trained in Mexico City.
The House will offer four bedrooms for Soho House members. Additionally, the House will launch an underground vinyl listening bar dedicated to the analog audiophile music culture.
SOHO HOUSE PORTLAND
Set to open in November, Soho House Portland will be in the Troy Laundry Building in the Central Eastside area. The House will have a lounge, a two-story gym, a rooftop pool, a music room and a restaurant.
