The Seahaus Hotel, part of Marriott’s Tribute Portfolio, opens in Atlantic City

NewcrestImage has opened The Seahaus Hotel on the Atlantic City Boardwalk in New Jersey. The 105-room non-gaming property, part of Marriott’s Tribute Portfolio, is managed by Coury Hospitality. Many of the rooms include an ocean view.

“This property dramatically demonstrates our company’s ability to see a hotel not just as it exists but to envision what it can be with new ownership,” said Mehul Patel, managing partner of NewcrestImage. “We acquired the property in July of 2023, then completely redeveloped it as a high-end destination hotel. Together, the purchase and renovation are the largest Boardwalk investment in the past 20 years, and now The Seahaus Hotel represents a significant new profit opportunity for us.”

The company acquired the building in 2023 and redeveloped it into a hotel covering a full city block, including 6,600 square feet of first-floor retail space. Features include direct beach access, an on-site fitness center, and live weekend entertainment. Guests can also access customized golf, boating, and wellness activities offered through local partners.

Dining options include the CDM Bakery + Café, which operates on-site, and Cucina Del Mar, the hotel’s restaurant serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The menu emphasizes Italian coastal dishes, Mediterranean flavors, local seafood, and seasonal ingredients.

Nearby points of interest include the Atlantic City Convention Center, Atlantic City Aquarium, Steel Pier Amusement Park, Tanger Outlets, area golf courses, fishing charters, and Atlantic City nightlife.

Since its founding in 2013, NewcrestImage has completed transactions totaling more than $3 billion for nearly 300 hotels with close to 32,000 rooms in 130 communities across the United States. The company currently owns more than 45 hotels.
