Rosewood Hotels & Resorts is slated to open Rosewood Calistoga and Rosewood Residences Calistoga in 2027. The hillside estate will bring a reimagined wine country retreat and residential enclave to Napa Valley.
“We are proud to unveil Rosewood Calistoga, where every element is thoughtfully curated to celebrate Napa Valley’s renowned culinary heritage and distinguished viniculture,” said Radha Arora, president of Rosewood Hotels & Resorts. “Through our Sense of Place philosophy, we will continue to prioritize our commitment to excellence by offering innovative experiences and fostering meaningful connections.”
Set across 118 acres on Calistoga’s forested ridgeline, the property has been envisioned as a “living ecosystem where experimentation is embraced and rejuvenation takes shape.” Design studio Atelier Marsh will carry forward the legacy of architect Ed Tuttle, creating 129 guestrooms, suites and residences in harmony with the land. Interiors will draw on natural materials and locally inspired motifs, reflecting the terroir through the seasons.
Dining at Rosewood Calistoga will highlight local provenance and ingredients harvested daily from the resort’s gardens and nearby farms and wineries. A signature restaurant, intimate cocktail bar and poolside eatery will form the core of the culinary program, complemented by immersive experiences such as cooking workshops and vineyard dinners.
The wellness offering will center around Asaya, Rosewood’s integrative concept, with six treatment rooms, a garden, hydrotherapy, a fitness center and two pools. More than 20,000 square feet of event space will accommodate gatherings, alongside a Rosewood Explorer’s club for children.
Rosewood Residences Calistoga will introduce 20 private villas and 13 homesites, each designed to blend modern refinement with the natural ridgeline. Owners will have access to the resort’s amenities and exclusive privileges through Rosewood Reserve.
The project reflects Rosewood’s intent to create “a place where a simpler rhythm informs a lightness of being and centers on what matters most – time spent in good company.”
