Rose Rock partners for $2.5 billion Vietnam resort development

Rose Rock Group and Vung Ro Petroleum are partnering to develop a US$2.5 billion resort community on Vietnam’s Vung Ro Bay, located in the Phu Yen province.

The development will comprise several hotels with over 760 guestrooms, 4,300 apartments, 100 luxury townhouses, a variety of retail shops and 350 marina berths. The gross commercial area will total approximately 200,000 sq m (2.15 million sq ft) providing space for schools, healthcare facilities, retail and entertainment complexes. A timeline for the project was not disclosed.

Rose Rock Group, New York City, was established by members of the Rockefeller family.
