BROOMFIELD, COLORADO The famous Half Moon luxury resort in Rose Hall, Jamaica, will be managed by Vail Resorts Inc. subsidiary RockResorts International LLC beginning January 1.
The 398-key property, which will be known as Half Moon, A RockResort, includes 54 swimming pools, a spa, six restaurants, seven bars, a Robert Trent Jones Sr.-designed golf course, 13 tennis courts, a teen center, an equestrian center, a children’s village and a dolphin lagoon.

Founded in 1956 in the Caribbean by Laurance Rockefeller, RockResorts was acquired and relaunched by Vail Resorts in 2001. RockResorts has become known for innovative environmental programs and F&B that uses sustainable ingredients.
