Anthropologie, the retailer known for its whimsical women wear, jewelry and home goods, is taking its design aesthetic outside the store and into a hotel, launching a suite within the boutique, 50-room Hotel Anna & Bell, located in Philadelphia’s artsy Fishtown neighborhood.
The Anna Suite by Anthropologie Home is an immersive stay experience in the master suite of the hotel, boasting 360-degree windows with views of Center City throughout its 950-square-foot layout, which includes two bedrooms and two bathrooms.
The collaboration makes eminent sense: Anthropologie is headquartered in Philadelphia and opened its first store in 1992 in Wayne, Pa., about an hour outside the city.
The Anna Suite by Anthropologie Home will be fully outfitted with furniture and decor from the brand, from the pattern-forward wallpaper selections and cotton-printed Sutton throw pillows in the king bedroom to the glass and ceramic dishware in the custom kitchenette and wet bar.
Wand, who says you an’t shop from your bedroom? Should guests decide they want one of the pieces, the suite will be fully shoppable through a QR code found in room.

“Our partnership with Hotel Anna & Bel reflects our commitment to supporting our local community here in Philadelphia, a city that has long inspired our design ethos,” says Anu Narayanan, president of Anthropologie Women’s & Home. “We’re thrilled to invite our customers and hotel guests to experience the Anna Suite by Anthropologie Home, a space where every corner tells a story. We created this suite to mirror the hotel’s inviting aesthetic coupled with our brand’s signature twist. By layering vintage-inspired textures, bold colors and artful pattern mixing, we wanted the space to feel like a beautifully curated, lived-in home. The result is a space rich in personality, warmth, and discovery.”
Hotel Anna & Bel opened in August 2024 by local developer Foyer Project as the first full-service boutique property in Fishtown, bult upon what was once the Penn Asylum for Indigent Widows and Single Women. The hotel was designed by Foyer Project in partnership with interior design and architecture firm B March.Â
“Having made our home in such a dynamic creative community like Fishtown, we’ve strived to create a space that engages our guests both in the fabric of the local scene as well as in the various discoveries to be found onsite, from the brands we feature in-room to the seasonally-changing menu at our signature restaurant, Bastia,” said Galli Arbel, director of brand at Foyer Project. “As a brand created for women with its roots in Philadelphia, we’re thrilled to partner with Anthropologie Home to bring our Anna Suite to life for our guests to explore.”

Guests of the private fourth-floor suite can expect vibrant art and accents like ceramic floral wall hangings, a curated book selection of design titles and a whimsical rattan poodle umbrella stand. Natural light plays a heavy role here in the living and dining spaces from unobstructed windows as well as four separate industrial skylights that feature original hardware. The living space also features Anthropologie Home’s Cosette Swivel Chairs paired alongside the Astrea Jacquard Woven Athena Sofa and the Quillen Marquetry Pedestal Dining Table, which is complemented by the Posta Leather Dining Chairs.
Both bedrooms feature the same moody earth tones that are at play throughout the rest of the hotel, including subtle greens and deep clay red, with floral wallpaper accent walls adding intrigue. A selection of both dark wood and marble furnishings round out the spaces alongside a curation of accent decor and wall art. The Anna Suite is the only room on the fourth floor and is accessible through a private staircase.
