Robin’s Grill at Regent Taipei is hosting acclaimed chef Andre Chiang, who will create an art-inspired meal for guests.
The [Andre @ Taiwan] feast is inspired by the oil painting “Le dejeuner sur l’herbe” (“The Luncheon on the Grass,” 1862-1863) by Edouard Manet, which depicts two young couples enjoying a picnic by a river in early spring. Chiang aims to recreate the art’s atmosphere via fresh ingredients prepared on a bed of fresh grass.
Chiang opened Restaurant Andre in Singapore in 2010, which has garnered accolades such as a mention on The New York Times’ list of the Top 10 Restaurants in the World Worth a Plane Ride.
